DHAKA: The first-year honours admission test of ‘Kha’ unit for the 2019-20 academic session of Dhaka University was held on Saturday (September 21).

The one and half an hour test was held from 10 am to 11:30 am at 72 centres in and outside of the campus.

A total of 45,018 candidates appeared in the admission test against 2,378 seats under the unit.

Some 18 applicants have been contesting against each seat under the unit.

The university vice-chancellor Md Akhtaruzzaman, pro-vice-chancellor (administration) Muhammad Samad, treasurer Md Kamal Uddin, dean of the arts faculty and coordinator of Kha Unit Admission Test Abu Md Delwar Hossain visited different examination halls in the university.

No electronic devices, including calculator, mobile phone, and electronic watch, were allowed into the exam halls at centres on and outside the campus.
