DHAKA:  Education Minister Dipu Moni said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to declare MPO enlistment on Wednesday (October 23) in a bid to give priority to educational institutions located in underdeveloped areas.  

She briefed reporters at International Mother Language Institute in the capital on Tuesday (October 22).

This time, MPO status will be give to haor and backward areas. Prime Minister has signed the MPO document and will announce it on Wednesday.

Though she didn’t disclose the number, but said that last time around 16000 institutions received MPO status. This time, it will double.
