PSC, Ebtedayee terminal exams begin

DHAKA: Primary School Certificate (PSC) and Ebtedayee Examinations have begun on Sunday (Nov 17) across the country with the participation of 29,03,638 examinees.

The examinations began around 10:30am on Sunday, and will continue until 1pm.

A total of 25,53,267 students are participating in the Primary terminal examinations this year. Of them, 11, 81,300 are boys and 13,71,967 girls.

A total of 3,50, 371 students – 1,87,082 boys and 1,66,281 girls – are attending the Ebtedayee terminal examinations.

Adequate security measures along with maximum protection against question paper leakage have been taken.

The examinations, which are being held at 7,458 centres across the country, are scheduled to end on November 24.

Besides, 615 students are sitting for the examinations from eight countries.

The two and a half hour examinations will begin at 10:30am every day.
