SSC, equivalent exams rescheduled for February 3

DHAKA: Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations, scheduled to be held from February 1, will now begin on February 3 this year.

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni confirmed the matter to Banglanews on Saturday evening.

“We have decided to start the exam on February 3 instead of February 1, as the Election Commission, as per demands raised by different t quarters, deferred the date of elections to Dhaka City Corporations,” she said.

The Education Ministry will publish the new schedule on Sunday (January 19), Dipu Moni added.

A total of 20, 47, 779 students were registered to take part in the examination from 28,884 institutions at 3,512 centres all over the country.

Of them, 10,23,416 male students and 10,23,416 are female students.
