DHAKA: Education Minister Dipu Moni has gone to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) to see two students who received injures during clash between students of Dhaka and City College at Science Lab area in the capital.

The minister spoke to the students and inquired about their treatment at around 1:30 pm on Friday (February 28).

The injured students were—Tamim Ahmed Sowat and Safwan Safi.

While returning from the hospital, the minister told student journalists: “Scuffle and confrontation took place between students of the two colleges. This is never acceptable that one would stab the other. Educational institutions have to play a stronger role to prevent this.”

She also said: “This is not the time to fight. We must move forward as the world moves forward. Everyone has to build up themselves.”

The minister said: “I would tell the principals of both of the institutions that both campuses shall be calm.  We shall no longer see any violence concerning such issues?
