The government has extended the ongoing closure of all educational institutions across the country till October 31.

Mohammad Abul Khayer, public relations officer of the Education Ministry confirmed the matter to Banglanews on Thursday. 

He said the ongoing closure till October 3 has been extended till October 31 amid the coronavirus pandemic. 

Earlier on March 16, the Ministry of Education issued a press release regarding the government decision of closing all educational institutions and coaching centres from March 18 to 31 in wake of to Covid-19 outbreak. 

Later the closure was extended till October 3 in several phases. No classes have been held since that day.
