Due to Covid-19 situation, all the public universities of the country have been asked to take their exams online from now on.
 
The decision came from a zoom meeting of the members of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and vice-chancellors of public universities on Thursday.
 
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Munaz Ahmed Noor confirmed the matter.

According to the meeting decision, public universities can take examinations online. From now on, those who have interests can take only academic examinations online, he said. 

In this regard, the universities will have to take the approval of the academic council, he also said.
 
The UGC's technical committee has prepared a guideline in order to hold exam online and all the universities will follow this guideline to this end, Prof Dr Munaz Ahmed Noor added.
