DHAKA: The affiliation of six educational institutions under the National University (NU) has been cancelled as they failed to fulfill the required conditions.

The decision, which was taken in the 144th syndicate meeting as per recommendations of the 79th academic council, was disclosed in a press release on Wednesday.

The release said that the affiliation of six educational institutions has been cancelled for their failure to meet required conditions.

The institutions are SB Science and Technology of Bogra, Bogra THBP and College, Bogra BP Advocate College, Bogra Library Science College, Institute of Library Arts of Khulna and Institute of Library and Information Science of Chittagong.
