The country reported 13 fresh dengue cases in the last 24 hours till Thursday morning (April 27), said the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

In the 24 hours, 11 dengue patient was admitted in Dhaka while 2 dengue patients was admitted outside the capital, said the DGHS release.

According to DGHS, this year till today 962 patients are being treated in hospitals across the country and 815 patients recovered. 

Besides, this year a total 10 died from the mosquito-borne viral disease in Bangladesh till today.

Last year, a total 281 died from the mosquito-borne viral disease in Bangladesh.

However, 28,429 patients were admitted to different hospitals with dengue while 28,265 patients recovered in last year.
