Bangladesh reported two more Covid-19-linked deaths and 230 fresh cases in 24 hours till Sunday (June 18) morning, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). 

The official data showed a total of 29,457 people in the country died due to the disease since the start of the pandemic in March of 2020.

Besides, the total number of coronavirus cases in the country reached 20, 41,470.

The DGHS disclosed the update on the country’s coronavirus situation issuing a press release this afternoon.

Bangladesh reported its first Coronavirus case on March 8 in 2020 while its first death was on March 18 that year.
