SIRAJGANJ :  Authorities concerned issued show cause notices to 13 people, including five doctors and five nurses, of Khokshabari Hospital for their alleged negligence in discharging duties at office.

Civil Surgeon Dr Shamsuddin, on Sunday afternoon, issued the notice asking them to submit proper explanations in this regard otherwise they would have to face departmental actions.

The Civil Surgeon of Sirajganj said he visited Khokshabari Hospital this morning following the allegation against doctors, nurses and staffs of negligence in discharging duties. 

During his one-hour stay there, none of show-caused recipients were seen absent in their workplace.

After returning office, show-cause notices have been issued against two doctors-Julia Akhter and Saiful Islam--, three deputy-assistant medical officers, five staff nurses, two pharmacists and a cleaner.
