DHAKA: Government will ban the energy drinks with alcohol and other harmful chemical ingredients after examining them.

Moreover, legal action will be taken against the authorities concerned.

Home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal made this disclosure to the media at his office in the secretariat in city on Thursday.

The decision of banning alcoholic energy was made at 14th meeting of narcotics control department, the minister added.
