DHAKA: A mobile court has fined Square Hospitals Limited in city Tk 2.65-lakh after finding massive irregularities.

A mobile court of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) conducted the drive Wednesday noon.

The penalty came as the hospital did not renew its license for blood bank.

Moreover, the cakes made at its canteen also lacked BSTI certification. It also had no license for medical devices and surgical equipment and no renewal of licenses for hospital clinic, ICU and CCU.

The hospital also included 65 additional seats though it had an approval of 300 seats.

RAB headquarters executive magistrate Helal Uddin confirmed the matter to banglanews.
