DHAKA: A seminar was held in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) on Thursday (January 19) to create awareness of cervical and breast cancer screening service.

Director General of Health Services Dr. Abul Kalam Azad attended the program as special guest while professor Dr Ashrafunesa spoke about the way to prevent cancer.

BSMMU Vice Chancellor (VC) Dr. Kamrul Hasan Khan, Pro VC (administration) Dr. Sharfuddin Ahmed, Professor also gave advise about the matter.

Ministry of Health and Family Welfare is conducting the Establishment of National Center for Cervical and Breast Cancer Screening and Testing at BSSMU project running the test treatment everyday.
