DHAKA: Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim urged the pharmaceutical company owners to reduce the price of drugs for the sake of common people.

The minister was addressing the annual general meeting of Bangladesh Association of Pharmaceutical Industries (BAPI), at Sonargaon hotel in Dhaka Tuesday (March 27).

“Bangladeshi drugs have reputation across the world. At present, drugs are being imported to 151 countries. Now, the price should be reduced for the commoners,” he said.

The minister asked the organizers to identify the unscrupulous people who sell adulterated medicine. “Factories of adulterated medicine should be shattered,” he said.
