DHAKA: The national campaign to feed children vitamin A Plus capsule has begun on Saturday (July 14).

Beginning from 8:00am, the campaign will continue till 4:00pm.

Under the campaign, around 2.19 crore children (aged from 6-59 months) will be fed vitamin A Plus capsules across the country.

Blue colored vitamin A Plus capsules will be given to some 25 lakh children aged from 6 to 11 months while red colors capsules will be given to 1.94 lakh children aged from 12 to 59 months. 

The children will be fed the vitamin A capsule at some 1,20,000 permanent health centers and 20,000 mobile centers across the country, said State Minister for Health and Family Welfare Zahid Malek on July 12.

The mobile centers have been installed at bus stands, railway stations, launch terminals, airports, ferry terminals, bridge toll centres and kheya ghats.
