DHAKA: Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) interrogated Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Director Prof Dr Abdur Rashid on allegations of illegally collecting crores of money through issuing fake tender notice.

ACC Deputy Director Md Shamsul Alam quizzed him from 10am to 4pm Wednesday (Jan 30).

Prof Dr Abdur Rashid and three others were summoned by the ACC on Jan 9.

The three others are—DGHS Director Dr Kazi Jahangir Hossain, Assistant Director (Budget) Dr Anisur Rahman and Accounts officer Abzal Hossain. 

Allegations have been raised against them for embezzling crores of money and possessing wealth beyond known income.
