DHAKA: The Public Service Commission (PSC) has approved recommendation to appoint 4,792 doctors in the country's hospitals.

Following appointment of these doctors in the current year, 5000 more doctors will be appointed next year.

Health Minister Zahid Maleque came up with the announcement on the update of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare’s declared 100 days of activity during a press conference at the secretariat on Thursday (May 16).

The process for recruitment has begun. Doctors will be appointed soon through special edition of Bangladesh Civil Service, he added.
