KHULNA:  A five-year-old child died of dengue fever at Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) on Thursday (August 5).

Residential physician of (KMCH) Dr. Shailendra Nath Biswas confirmed the death to Banglanews.

According to KMCH, Srabonti, daughter of Md. Shohag, was a resident of Ramchandrapur of Baghar Para of Jessore district. Srabonti was admitted to the hospital on August 31. She underwent treatment at ICU.

So far, nine persons have died of dengue fever in Khulna.
