DHAKA: The government has appointed 4,443 doctors under the 39th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS).

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification on Tuesday (November 19), appointing 4,203 assistant surgeons and 240 assistant dental surgeons.

The appointees were urged to join their respective workplaces as directed by the ministry concerned by December 8. However, if anyone does not join by the time, his/her appointment will be cancelled assuming that he or she is not agreed to join the job.
