NATORE: The rail communication of south and northern part of the country restored after a six-hour halt as hartal supporters removed the fishplates of rail track Lalpur of Natore districts early Sunday.
Iswardi GRP thana Officer-in-Charge told banglanews, “The rail services on the routes resumed at around 10:00am after repair the rail track.
The OC said that miscreants removed rail tracks by melting the connection using gas cutters at around 3:00am.
Following the incident hundreds of Dhaka-bound train passengers got stranded at Abdulpur railway junction and Muladuli rail station.
