Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over the eight divisions across the country.

"Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Dhaka, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with heavy to heavy falls at places over the country", said the met office forecast for next 24 hours commencing from 9am.

Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded as 33.5 degree Celsius jointly at Rangpur and Sayedpur and the minimum temperature today was recorded by 23.8 degree Celsius at Tetulia.
