The by-election to the Brahmanbaria-2 and Laxmipur-3 constituencies will be held on November 5.
The Election Commission (EC) announced the schedule on Tuesday (Oct 3).
During the announcement of the detailed schedule, EC Secretary Md. Jahangir Alam said the last date for submission of nomination papers is October 11, and filed papers will be selected on October 12.
He said appeals against selection of nomination papers can be filed from October 13 to 17, appeals will be disposed of on October 18.
Last date for withdrawal of candidature is October19, and symbols will be allotted on 20 October. Later, voting will be held on November 5, EC Secretary added.
Earlier on October 1, a circular was published in this regard declaring these two seats are vacant.
MP Abdus Sattar Bhuiyan from Brahmanbaria-2 constituency and MP AKM Shahjahan Kamal from Laxmipur-3 constituency died on September 30 at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka.
According to the constitution, the Election Commission must conduct by-polls within 90 days of any vacant seat.
