NARATANGANJ: At least 15 people were injured as a passenger bus overturned on Dhaka-Chittagong highway at Sonargaon upazila of the district on Saturday noon.

Witnesses said that a rashly driven Dhaka bound passenger bus plunged into a road divider as the driver lost his control over the steering in the area around 2:00pm, leaving 15 people injured critically.

The injured were rushed to local clinics and Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Officer-in-Charge of Sonargaon Thana Atiqur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
