DHAKA: Opposition BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam and few other opposition leaders were sued on charge of instigating arson at Bangla Motor where a police man and another one were killed on Tuesday night.

Ramna Thana Sub-Inspector Nazmul Islam filed the case on Wednesday noon for instigating the incident.

The other BNP leaders include Mirza Abbas, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Aman Ullah Aman, Barkat Ullah Bulu, Salauddin Ahmed, Saiful Islam Firoz.

On Tuesday night, a police constable and another one were killed as miscreants hurled petrol bomb at a police bus at Bangla Motor of the capital.
