FARIDPUR: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also ruling Awami League president, is set to address two rallies in Bhanga upazila of the district on Thursday afternoon.

Sources said that Sheikh Hasina will address a mass rally at Balur Matt on Bhanga highway to seek vote for party candidate in Faridpur-4 constituency.

Later, the premier also will attend another rally as a chief guest at Sadarpur stadium around 1:00pm.

Centering the PM’s visit, multi-tire security measures have been taken in the area.

Earlier, five years ago the Prime Minister addressed a rally in the district ahead of the 9th national election to seek vote for the Overseas Welfare Minister Engineer Khondaker Mosharraf Hossain.
