2 brothers killed in city road crash

DHAKA: Two cousins were killed when a bus rammed a rickshaw carrying the victims in front of Gulistan police box in the capital on Thursday morning.

The deceased were identified as Salam, 24, and Apu, 22.

Paltan thana Sub-inspector Kalam told banglanews that the two brothers came to Dhaka from Mymensingh to attend an examination.

But, a bus ran over them at Gulistan while they were going to Kamrangir Char by a rickshaw after arrival at Kamalapur rail station around 5:00am, leaving them dead on the spot.

The bodies were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy, he added.

None was held in this connection.
