MANIKGANJ: Ferry services on Paturia-Daulatia river route came to a halt since early Tuesday due to poor visibility for dense fog.

Sources said that the authority has stopped the ferry services from 5:00am to avoid collision.

Confirming the matter, Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC)’s Paturia Ferry Ghat Assistant Manager (commercial) Mahiuddin Russell told banglanews, “The ferry services will be resumed when the fog cleared.”
