SAVAR, DHAKA: Detective Branch of Police nabbed four members of fake Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) from Hemaetpur and Ashulia areas in Savar Upazila and different places of the capital on Thursday night.

The detainees were- Humayan Kabir, 27, Feroj Ahmed, 43, Morshed Hossain Mamsum, 46 and Rabiul Islam, 28.

DB police sources said that the detainees were involved in mugging, robbery and different terrorism acts from long days in different areas.

Law enforcers also seized five sets of RAB uniform, a pair of hand cuff, hijacked mobile and locally made arms including knife.    

Dhaka district (north) Inspector of detective branch of police Shahin Sha Parvez confirmed the matter to banglanews.
