Mancha’s fresh prog against attack on minorities

DHAKA: Ganajagaran Mancha has announced a road-march programme in protest against the attack on minorities across the country.

The road-march programme will begin from city’s Shahagh intersection to sectarian violence torn Malopara area of Jessore district from January 10 to 11 January.

Ganajagaran Mancha spokesperson Dr Imran H Sarker announced the programme at a press conference on Tuesday.

Imran H Serker said, “We are traumatized by recent violent activism against minority in different parts of the country and our demand is immediate state action against the inhuman activism and compensation to the victims.”

The Mancha activists also demanded a speedy trial tribunal to punish culprits involved in the arson, vandalism and ravages recently against Hindu community in the country.

He also told journalists that youth committees would be formed by Mancha activists and local people to protect communal harmony across the country.
