DHAKA: Three top leaders of opposition BNP, including its vice-chairman Selima Rahman, chairperson’s adviser Khandaker Mahbub Hossain and organizing Secretary Fazlul Hauque Milon, were shown arrested in bomb attack case.
Police will produce the BNP leaders before the court of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate on Wednesday with a seven-day remand plea.
Joint commissioner of detective branch of police Monirul Islam confirmed the matter.
Earlier on Tuesday evening, Selima Rahman was picked up by law enforcers from her residence at Gulshan in the capital hours after she declared to extend 48-hour by 12-hour.
On the other hand, Kandaker Mahbub was held from in front of National Press Club in the afternoon.
