DHAKA: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) will ensure the security to all the examinees especially ‘O’ level and ‘A’ level students.

Police Commissioner Benzir Ahmed came up with the announcement at a press conference at Media and Public Relations Center on Wednesday noon.
 
The DMP boss said if guardians of ‘O’-‘A’ level students felt insecurity during examination, DMP will provide security to them on their way to exam hall.

He also said academic life of meritorious students is being hampered due to prevailing political unrest. “So, DMP wants to stand beside them through providing protection during the examinations,” he said.

DMP Commissioner further added that over 500 schools were torched across the country.
