The Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) today (May 1) arrested Milton Samadder, founder and chairman of 'Child & Old Age Care'. 

The detectives detained him in a drive in the capital’s Mirpur area on Wednesday evening.

Additional Commissioner and DB chief Mohammad Harun Or Rashid confimred the matter.

He said Milton Samadder, a familiar face in social media, was arrested based on various allegations, including embezzling money collected for helpless people whom he gave shelter and stealing their kidneys.

Details in this regard will be provided tonight, the DB chief added.

‘Child & Old Age Care’ is a non-government and non-profit organization that works for the betterment of disabled and abandoned children and elderly people in the country.
