GOPALGANJ: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also ruling Awami League president, paid homage to the father of nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Wednesday.

A team of three forces consisting Army, Navy and Air forces gave guard of honour.

Later, the primer joined in a special prayer with her sister Sheikh Rehana and cabinet members.

Earlier on the day, a helicopter landed on the helipad of the district at 01:55pm carrying the Prime Minister.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Hasina inaugurated Tungipara Upazila Parisad building.
