The government has appointed Noor-E Helal Saifur Rahman as the new Ambassador of Bangladesh to Jordan.

He is currently serving as Bangladesh High Commissioner in South Africa.

Noor-E Helal Saifur Rahman will be replacing Ambassador Nahida Sobhan, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On Wednesday (June 5), a press release was issued in this regard by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ambassador Rahman is a career diplomat belonging to the 15th batch of Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS-Foreign Affairs cadre).
