Md Kaus Mia, a celebrated taxpayer in Bangladesh, has passed away at a hospital in the early hours of Tuesday. He was 94.

Kaus Mia, also the proprietor of the brand of chewing tobacco – Hakimpuri Jarda, breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Asgar Ali Hospital around 12:40am, said his son Jahangir Mia.

He is survived by his wife, eight sons, eight daughters, relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
