NARAYANGANJ: International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) Prosecutor Barrister Turin Afroz on Saturday said the trial of Jamaat-e-Islam and Shibir will begin in March for the party alleged involved in crimes against humanity committed during 1971 liberation war.

Turin Afroz made the assertion while addressing a discussion organized by Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee in Shaheed Minar area of Narayanganj Bandar.

She said, “The war crimes tribunal has been commencing trials persons alleged committed crimes during liberation war and it will initiate trial of the party.”

Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee district level leaders also spoke.
