The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has predicted rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds over the country within the next 24 hours starting from 9 am Tuesday.
According to a bulletin issued this morning, “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers with temporary gusty winds are likely at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions; at a few places over Rajshahi and Chattogram divisions; and at one or two places over Dhaka, Khulna, and Barishal divisions. Moderately heavy to heavy rainfall may occur at places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions.”
The department added that day and night temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged throughout the country.
On Monday, the highest temperature was recorded at 36.5°C in Khulna, while the lowest temperature today was 24.6°C in Bandarban.
In the capital, the sun is expected to set at 6:34 p.m. today and rise at 5:33 a.m. tomorrow.
