2 dead in Satkhira clash with cops

SATKHIRA: Two activists of Chhatra Shibir were killed in a clash with police in Nasikeli area under Debhata upazila of the district early Sunday.

The deceased were identified as Maruf Hossain, 24, and Abul Kalam, 22, secretary of upazila unit Chhatra Shibir, the student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami.

Debhata thana officer-in-charge Tarok Biswas confirmed the matter to banglanews.
