The second group of 26 Bangladeshi migrants, pardoned by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, returned home by a flight of IndiGo, an Indian Airlines, on Friday afternoon.
The first batch of 14 Bangladeshi migrants pardoned by the UAE president on the same ground returned home on 7 September.
With the second batch, a total of 40 Bangladeshi migrants have returned home from the country as of Friday.
Earlier, a total of 57 Bangladeshi migrants were convicted by the UAE Federal Court for holding protest rallies in solidarity with the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement in Bangladesh.
Later, Prof Muhammad Yunus, interim government chief, talked to the UAE president in this connection.
