The Ministry of Public Administration on Tuesday (Oct 15) published the gazette of 43rd BCS exams.
At the same time the Ministry confirmed appointment of 2,064 people to top-rated government posts.
The employment confirmation took nine months as a shakeup in government required re-verification of police records of about 255 candidates and retaking of medical exams for some others.
On 26 December last year, the Public Service Commission (PSC) had recommended the recruitment of 2,805 candidates. As per regulations, candidates had to go through intelligence probes on suspected criminal involvement and medical tests for confirming fitness to perform duties, before they could join duties.
