Election Commission (EC) Secretary Akhtar Ahmed has said discussions have been held on the roadmap for the next national parliamentary elections, which will be published next week.

He shared the information while speaking to reporters at the EC headquarters on Thursday (August 14).

The EC secretary said the roadmap has been discussed and will be made public next week.

He added that there are still some discussions regarding voting rights for expatriates, and once those are completed, the schedule will be announced.
