MYMENSINGH: Mother and son were electrocuted in Trishal upazila of the district on Monday morning.

The deceased were identified as Rina Begum, 42 and her son Imran, 15, hailed from Naodhar area of the upazila.

Police and local sources said Rina Begum came in contact with electric wire while spreading out cloths and Imran was electrocuted as he went to save his mother and died on the spot.

Officer-in-Charge of Trishal Thana Firoz Talukder confirmed the matter to banglanews.
