RAJSHAHI: At least 30 police personnel were injured as a bus plunged into a roadside ditch at Paba upazila of the district on Thursday night.

Sources said a Chapainawabganj-bound a police bus plunged into roadside ditch at its driver lost control over steering while trying to avert head-on collision with a truck around 8:00pm, leaving 30 police men injured.

Later, fire service units from Rajshahi Sadar rushed in and rescued the bus.

Officer-in-Charge of Paba Thana Akbar Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
