Palestinian Ambassador to Bangladesh, Yousef S. Y. Ramadan, has expressed deep gratitude to the people of Bangladesh for their support to Palestine.

He said the 'March for Gaza' rally in Dhaka will be remembered in history.

In a statement sent to the media on Saturday (April 12), the ambassador said that the April 12 march was one of the strongest declarations of global support and solidarity for the people of Palestine.

“Dhaka continues to amaze the world with its unmatched sincerity. What the world witnessed on April 12 will be written in history as one of the greatest shows of support and solidarity for the Palestinian people, echoing across borders and generations,” the statement read.

He said the energy and spirit shown by the people of Bangladesh proved a clear truth. 

“Through its men and women, young and old, Bangladesh has chosen to give strength, encouragement, and moral resistance to the Palestinian people in their ongoing struggle for freedom,” he added.

The ambassador described the Bangladeshi people as a rare and great nation, standing firmly for justice and freedom.
