Members of Bangladesh Army and law enforcement agencies arrested 390 people in a drive to maintain law and order across country.
These arrests were made for their alleged involvement in various crimes between 10 and 17 April.
According to a press release issued on Friday (18 April) by ISPR Assistant Director Rashedul Alam Khan, the joint drives were carried out by different infantry divisions and independent brigades in Dhaka and other areas.
The detainees include listed criminals, known gang members, muggers, drug dealers, extortionists, fugitives, and members of juvenile gangs and fraud rings.
During the operations, law enforcers also recovered 10 illegal firearms, 46 rounds of ammunition, local weapons, drugs, stolen mobile phones, laptops, foreign currency, and cash.
