Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus attended the funeral mass of Pope Francis at St Peter's Basilica in Vatican City on Saturday.

Pope Francis, a champion of the poor and the Catholic Church’s first Latin American leader, was a strong admirer of Yunus’s work and vision for a "Three Zero World" — zero poverty, zero unemployment, and zero carbon emissions.

The Vatican had earlier partnered with Yunus to launch the "Three Zero Initiative" in Rome.
