Two Bangladeshis were injured after the Indian border security force (BSF) opened fire in Brahmanbaria’s Kasba border.
The incident happened in Upazila’s Khadla border at Shyamnagar area on Saturday (May 25).
The injured were identified as Md. Robiul Islam, 28, and Md. Azad Hosen, 26.
According multiple sources, around 1:30 am, six local people entered the Indian border at least 150 yards inside. At that time, the BSF fired pellets, injuring two of them. They were later rescued and taken to the hospital.
BGB-60 Battalion Commander Lt. Col. Ziaur Rahman confirmed the confirmed the matter and said that detailed inquiries are being made regarding the matter.
