The central body of Anti-Discrimination Student Movement has announced the dissolution of all its regional and affiliated committees, retaining only the central committee.

Rifat Rashid, president of the organisation, made the announcement during a press conference held in Shahbagh on Sunday (July 27).

He warned that if anyone commits misconduct using the organisation's name, legal action will be taken. 

“From now on, if anyone engages in wrongdoing under the banner of Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, we urge authorities to take legal action against them,” he said.

Rashid added that a decision regarding the future direction and operational structure of the student movement will be announced soon.
