The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds across the country in the next 24 hours, starting from 9:00am today.
According to the Met office bulletin issued this morning, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions.
Many areas in Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions are also expected to experience rain with chances of moderately heavy to very heavy downpours, particularly in the northern and northeastern regions.
The bulletin also mentioned that day and night temperatures are likely to remain nearly unchanged across the country.
On Saturday, the highest temperature was recorded at 35.4°C in Jashore under Khulna Division, while today's lowest temperature was 24.0°C in Tangail.
In Dhaka, the sun will set today at 6:41pm and rise tomorrow at 5:29am.
